San Francisco!

Hi everyone this is Sara writing this portion of the blog. Just wanted to give a little update of what we have been up to for the last few days. The guys and I drove from Salem to San Francisco on Sunday. It was a long drive but good company made it fun. Monday we went wine tasting around the Santa Clara Mountains with Lauren. Jared was sick so he decided to be DD. But the rest of us had a grand old time. We tried to go to Santa Cruz but the parking situation was so bad that we could not even find a spot. Not our smartest move, but still fun. Yesterday we explored San Fran. We forced Lauren to do all of the tourist stuff (Pier 39, trolly ride, Golden Gate Park, China Town, Embarcadero, etc.) We finally got all of our visa's so we officially can leave the country. We met up with Joe (Jared's friend from Germany). Went out had a few beers and then home and to bed. We are all really excited about leaving tomorrow and can't wait to update you all soon on the adventure!

5/28/09: Flight to Saigon, Vietnam
5/29/09: Arrive in Saigon
5/?/09-6/3/09: Vietnam countryside (Jared + Vietcong tunnels = Good times)
6/03/09: Leave Saigon by bus for Phenom Phen, Cambodia
6/03-04/09: Arrive in Cambodia...explore Phenom Phen
6/05/09: Speed Boat up the Mekong Delta to explore Angkor Wat
6/06/09: Travel Day: Flight to Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia to Phuket, Thailand
6/07/09-6/13/09: Beach Bums and Elephant rides
6/13/09: SHANGHAIED!!!!
